  1. I do not host a lot of events but the few I have it has been like pulling teeth to get the attendants to RSVP. I usually end up calling everyone and double checking to see if they will be making it, which is rather time consuming.

  2. I send RSVP’s as soon as I am organized enough to have a date set in stone…I also use Social Media to remind others.

    1. Deana,
That’s a great idea! It probably saves both you and them some time. Do you text the people who haven’t responded to get their RSVP or just assume they are not available to attend?

  3. When it has come to RSVPs with my kid’s parties, yes, I used to struggle. However, I learned that if I wrote that any siblings were welcome, too, it improved. I think that there will always be stragglers, but I vow to not be one of those myself. 🙂

  4. If my family plans on attending the event, I always RSVP right away and mark our calendars on the kitchen wall and on our devices Thanks for the great giveaway! I love many items on Esty

  5. I try to obtain RSVPs in multiple formats — email, text, social media, etc. Most people have a preferred method and one method doesn’t work for all.

    1. I agree Marnie – multiple formats for the invitations and the RSVP responses seems to work best in our day and age. Thanks for commenting!

  6. I usually like to follow up with everyone I haven’t heard from about a week before the event to get a more definite number about the guest list!

  7. I organize a lot of events but I don’t have to deal with the invites or rsvps thank god lol the customers usually take care of that detail .
