No one is paying attention at the moment and that is okay. I stopped writing a few years ago and really just ignored the blogosphere completely. Social media took over and everyone just writes what they think about everything and every little thing they want people to see in their lives.
Proof no one has been paying attention to this site is that it’s been down for a while and no one mentioned it. Was I waiting on someone to say something? Not really. Life has been taking me in lots of different directions lately and I just needed to feel the pull back to creativity, back to writing, back to believing I have something to share.
At work I was tasked with managing the project to build a new site for our company. It inspired me to start working on my own sites – yes multiple sites! Last night I sat down to figure out what was wrong with this one and with the help of some great YouTube tutorials, the WSOD (White Screen of Death) is repaired. Thanks to WPCrafter and this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r__meg9uhE0
It was a problem with the theme which is why the site has a different layout now. The old theme is no longer supported, so here we are. I’m just thankful I did not lose all my past content.
I also had an old .wordpress blog. I moved those old posts to this site so I have them all in one place. Next up is to relearn WordPress. I have a couple content ideas that I want to start working creating. One of those will go on my LaureeSayne.com site. I’ve been diving deep into geneology and I want to share what I’ve learned with other family members, so adding it there seems like the best way to do that.
Helping my daughter with a site for her business as a hairstylist and makeup artist and my husband with his music business are big motivators to get back to working on web sites. Lots of ideas are gathering in my brain to keep me creative and to help those I love as well as connecting more deeply with my family.
Ideas to express myself and continue becoming all God created me to be are part of that whirlwind in my head. I hope you enjoy the journey!
