This page is full of some of my favorite tools that make having my own business more fun and easier. I created this business resources page because I love sharing what I do and I really love helping other people succeed. Some of these links are affiliate links. That means I could receive compensation if you use them, at no additional charge to you. It’s a win-win! I hope to hear all about your wins in your business.
ETSY
If you are a crafter, creator, love all things vintage and want to make money from your passion, etsy is the place for you. One thing I love about it is the friendly competition of all the sellers. There are teams, forums, and lots of support that happens to make it a wonderful marketplace. Use my site’s contact form to ask me any questions. I’d love to help! Use this link to open your own etsy shop and earn 40 free listings, I’ll get 40 free listings, too. http://etsy.me/1EqFvPJ
ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE
If you have a business or are starting one, plan big! All businesses need accounting software. Craftybase is built for crafters. We have multitudes of supply purchases and projects, Craftybase makes them easy to track. It also imports all your etsy shop information, including fees and shipping.
Graphic Design
So you don’t really have to be a graphic designer to create all those cool graphics you see on social media and on blog posts. You just need a good tool for creating them. I use canva.com. There are lots of free templates and stock photos to choose from. There are stock photos that you can purchase as well. Canva is free unless you decide to purchase some of the paid photos (you can add your own photos to your canva uploads).
There is a new (as of 8/2015) paid version of canva for work, but I have not tried it yet.
Social Media Tools
Latergram

Use Latergram to “schedule” Instagram posts. It does not actually schedule them for you. You add your graphic and text and put it on the schedule. Then at the time you scheduled it you receive a notification to complete the post to Instagram. On your iphone it copies the text so all you have to do is paste and complete the post to IG.
So far I’m only using the free version which limits you to 30 scheduled posts per month. I love that I can glance at the calendar and see I have at least one thing posting to IG each day. I’m using it to post a quote once a day (I also use ifttt.com to post the same quote to FB and Twitter).
If you use this link to join, I will earn additional free post: GET LATERGRAM
