Online Sales Resources

You know I have an Etsy shop, what you might not know is that I also sell on Ebay, Amazon and other online opportunities.  I’ve had several people ask me how I do that and what tools I use for it, so I thought I’d start this resource page to answer those questions.  I expect it to evolve over time, so check back often or leave questions.  I’ll try to answer or at least point you to some resources that can help.

PODCASTS

In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I love podcasts.  They are an awesome way to learn, get inspired and motivated.  Some great online sales related podcasts are:

The Amazing Seller – His primary focus is on private label, but he answers a lot of questions for people about Amazon rules and tools for your business.

Ask Jordan – This is the perfect podcast for someone just getting started with retail abtritrage for selling online.  He does not record consistently.  Go back and listen to all of them from the beginning.

BUSINESS TOOLS

Amazon Seller Central – To sell on Amazon you’ll need an Amazon account and a seller account.  The professional seller account is $39.99 per month (the first month is free).  Amazon has a lot of rules and regulations.  Some categories are “gated” meaning you have to apply and be approved to sell in those categories.

InventoryLab – Is the tool I use to keep track of my inventory {affiliate link}.  It syncs with Amazon Seller Central.  At first I tried to keep track of everything with a spreadsheet and it was too cumbersome. InventoryLab is $49.00 per month (the first 30 days are free).

Profit Bandit – This app connects to Amazon, eBay, Camel Camel Camel and other sites.  When you are looking for items to sell, scan them into Profit Bandit and find out if the item will be profitable or not.  This app is available for Android and iPhone devices.  It is $9.99 per month.

SUPPLIES
