If you are like me, you don’t want to waste anything. Some times the answer to not wasting is sharing. How often do you have left-over supplies from your last crafting project? Remember you bought that whole book of scrapbook paper because you needed about one third of it?
I also wanted a solution for a gift to give with each purchase from my etsy shop. Enter the opportunity to share instead of waste!
Claim That Beverage
My third “problem” is that I really don’t like using paper and plastic when I entertain. Even for big family dinners and celebrations, I would just rather have a pretty table and wash the dishes. I bought some inexpensive stemmed beverage glasses. They worked great except for one problem – with plastic you can write your name on it and no drinks get lost. Enter the glass slipper.
Glass Slipper To The Rescue!
Not the glass slipper that Cinderella wore, but glass slippers for your drinking glasses. Of course, I cannot claim this as an original idea, I got it from Pinterest! It took me a few different designs using my use my Silhouette Studio software and several leftover scrapbook papers.
Once I perfected my design I decided to get fancy with it. Since my logo has a scalloped border I went with that shape. What do you think?
My friends and family love them and sometimes they even get creative with writing silly nicknames on them instead of their real names. At big family meals where I set the table in advance, they serve as place cards, too.
As for gifts for my etsy shop customers, I’ll send a dozen of a variety of these as a thank you for their order. I hope they enjoy them!
