The old floral fabric had to go. You can see there were other layers below the floral. The first step was to remove the seat part from the wood base / legs. I used that as the “template” and laid it on top of the fabric to cut it for the top of the bench.
With my handy staplegun I attached the new fabric to the seat, then reattached the seat to the legs / base. All in all this little project took about 30 minutes. I love it!
